VICTIMS OF PROPHECY - Introduction - Part 2

I will like to start with some examples of victims of prophecy in the Bible. There were victims of prophecy in the days of Noah ( Heb. 11:7 and 1 Peter 3:30). Matt. 24:38-39
They shunned the prophecy and they pay for it with thier lives.

There were victims of prophecy in the days of Lot. The daughter of Lot and his sons in-law took the prophecy about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah as something that is not possible (Gen. 19:12-14).

Prophecy also said that as it were in the days of Noah and the days of Lot, so shall it be at this end of time and many people are already victims of the end time proohecies.

In the days Noah, when God spoke to him on the flood and the ark ( Gen. 6:13-22). He preached to the people of his days about the coming destruction through the flood, he preached it for one hundred years (Gen 5:32,7:6) and he was able to save only 7 people. Every one all over the surface of the earth ignore and refuse to believe the Word of God, they were busy with their business, profession, academy, marriage, partying, etc and the judgement of God come upon them all.

The same thing occur in the days of Lot, Sodomy, Homosexualism, lewdness, etc was every where, but when the gospel of incoming judgement was preached to Lot by the Angels, he and his family believed and were saved. 
Without any argument, the same attitude the people in the days of Noah and Lot portray is being seen all over the world... Many has neglect and ignore the Word of God concerning this generation. It is expedient for us all as a a christian to ask, what time are we in? Spiritually, physically and scripturally, what time are we in? Let us all meditate on that.

Another victim of prophecy in the Bible was this soldier that did not belief the prophecy of Elisha, and we know the outcome of it (please read 2 King 7:1-20).

It is very important for us to know that, whatsoever God said in His Word or through His Holy Prophets, He mean it and must come to pass. I think the best example to know is that Every prophecy of God (both in Old and New Testament) concerning the birth, suffering, death, resurection and ascension of Jesus Christ came to pass (1 Cor. 15:3-4). So God dont just speaks, before He speaks it has already been concluded in His thought. Every spoken Word of God is His thought expressed. The bible says i know the thought i think towards you....(Jer. 11:29), that is God thinks... And Word is simply thought expressed. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.....

In our next teaching, we shall see what God prophesied shall happen in this our dispensation as regards music, fantasy, fashion, dressing etc... And we shall see that 90% has already come to pass.
