MYSTERY BABYLON & HER WINE OF FORNICATION - Part 1

'and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication' 

In the first part of this scripture and in our previous articles, we understand that this fake and counterfeit church has committed spiritual fornication with the kings (i.e. Powerful and great men of the World). Now, the second part of this scripture, quoted above reveals that this fornication bring forth wine, which is called 'the wine of fornication', and the inhabitants of the earth has been made drunk of this wine of fornication. 

Now, we have to go to some scriptures in order for us to have a correct understanding of what this 'wine' signifies scripturally.

Deuteronomy 11:14
[14]That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

In this scriptures, corn, oil and wine goes together... 
The corn (food) - the Word of God 
The Wine: Revelation or Doctrine
The Oil: The Anointing of the HolySpirit... 
Our communion and fellowship with the Godhead (i.e The Word and HolySpirit not Trinity) brings forth Revelations and we are filled with the anointing thereof... 

Let's see another scripture...

Ephesians 5:18
[18]And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Apostle Paul is making a comparison between wine and HolySpirit... 
Wine is intoxicating, addictive and destructive...  It leads to entire dissolution of mind and manners, when in excess it leads to a riotous living and recklessness. It's possible that Apostle Paul is using what happen in Acts 2(especially v13-15) as a basis of comparison. 
That means that Holy Spirit likewise intoxicated and be under his influence, or you are intoxicated wrong with wine and be under its influence. 

Coming back to our text, Rev 17:2b, the wine in this context signifies false doctrines, fables, lies, etc which this church and her harlot daughters has made their members and inhabitants of the earth to believe.
That's why many are under the influence of this lies and False doctrines.... That are been controlled by the influence of this drunkenness of lies, fables and False doctrines. 
That's why many are zealous for God (at the wrong placed) without the True knowledge of the Word of God... 
That's why we see many Christians find it hard to believe the Truth of the Word of God even though they are convinced that it is the Truth... 
Some will even say they cannot believe it because their church don't teach it... Though they see that this is the Truth.. 

Food for Thought:
No man of God (No matter the popularity or church members) has the final Authority over the Word of God, except the Holy Spirit Himself... Only the Holy Spirit has the final say on His Word...
Choose for yourself whether you go for what the Spirit is saying or what your church is saying...

May God open our eyes and hearts to see and believe the Truth of His Word....
